Conditions of "Laa Ilaaha Illa-Allah" (Tawheed) - لا إله إلا الله

Conditions of "Laa Ilaaha Illa-Allah"
There are seven conditions of "LA ILAAHA ILLA-ALLAH" or Tawheed that are described below:
Knowledge (Ilm): One must have the basic knowledge of what is meant by shahadah or Tawheed. One must understand what "Laa Ilaaha Illa-Allah" is affirming and what is denying "Laa Ilaaha Illa-Allah". Allah Almighty describes the state of the true believers in the Holy Qur'an: "And those who invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession, but only those who testify the truth [can benefit], and know" (Qur'an, 43). : 86). The awareness of the true essence of LA ILAAHA ILLA-ALLAH is the key to admiring Allah Almighty with the most legitimate spirit, which in turn is the basis for reaching the blessed place of Jannah in the hereafter.
Certainty (Yaqeen): The second condition is the certainty (Yaqeen) that denies doubt, so that the one who pronounces "Ilaha Illa Allah" does so with the certainty of what these words indicate, with a certain certainty. One must have full confidence that the Merciful is the key factor that causes believers to stand firm in their belief and consider Allah Almighty as sufficient in every matter without any doubt in mind. Allah (SWT) says in the Noble Quran: "Believers are only those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then do not doubt, but struggle with their property and their lives in the cause of Allah. They are the ones who are sincere. "(Quran, 49: 15)
Acceptance (Qabool): Acceptance is the third condition of "Ilaha Illa Allah". Once a person has learned Tawheed and the meaning of "Ilaha Illa Allah", he must verbally recognize that he has accepted the Shahadah and never deny it for any reason. The combination of Shahadah's approval through language and actions should make one accept His complete commandments with the great Allah (SWT), says in the Noble Quran: "....... So, do you believe part of the Scriptures and do not believe in part? So what is the reward for those who do that among you, except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be returned to the most severe punishment. And Allah does not ignore what you do. "(Quran, 2: 85)
Submission to Allah Almighty: the fourth condition is the acceptance of the instructions of Islam that must be followed with total obedience and submission to Allah Almighty, which includes the fulfillment of His orders and avoiding what He has forbidden. Allah Almighty says in the Noble Quran: "And whoever submits his face to Allah while doing things right, then has taken the most trustworthy hand. And for Allah it will be the result of [all] affairs. " (Qur'an, 31: 22)
Truth (Sidq): Truthfulness is the fifth condition of 'La Ilaha Illa Allah'. Shahadah is to deny the lie, the falsehood and it is to say 'Ilaha Illa Allah' from one's heart and make his speech according to what is in one's heart. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "And of mankind there are some who say: 'We believe in Allah and on the last day' when they do not believe. They think to deceive Allah and those who believe, and they deceive no one, except themselves, but they do not perceive. In their hearts there is a disease and Allah increases their disease. A painful punishment is theirs because they lie. "(Qur'an, 2: 8-10)
Sincerity: Sincerity (Ikhlas) is to do all forms of worship for Allah Alone, not for anyone else. The believers have been directed to purify their devotion to Almighty Allah, there should be no Riya (presume) in any matter related to the Adoration and Worship of Allah, as it would lead to perform something according to the will and desire of another person . Not to achieve the only happiness of Allah Almighty. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an: "Worship Allah, making religion pure for him" (Quran, 39: 2)
Love: The seventh condition is Love, which is a necessary condition of the shahadah or Tawhid. If a person does the shahadah or says "Ilaha Illa Allah" but does not love the shahadah and what it represents, then, in fact, his faith is not complete. It is not the faith of a true believer if he loves something more than this. If a person loves something other than Allah, then he has denied his shahadah. Allah (SWT) says in the Noble Quran: "... But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah ...... "(Quran, 2: 165). So, the true believers of Islam are those who have a tremendous love for Allah.
In conclusion, "LA ILAAHA ILLA ALLAH" is not just a sentence to pronounce, in fact, one must center all his beliefs on the seven attributes described above of this testimony that would meet the criteria of Shahadah in the most equitable manner.
